What Anglo American Racing Does:

We are a race team designed to encourage people to try circuit driving and to possibly move on to become racing drivers. We also use the team to promote our safe driving Student Intelligent Driver program aimed at saving the lives of young drivers, their passengers and other road users.www.cleverstop.com/roadsafety.htm

We also use the team to run exciting corporate track days for small and medium sized business. This race team was established to help individuals in both the UK and the USA to realise their dreams of becoming racing drivers. We have developed successful methods of raising sponsorship and a range of services that can help drivers go racing.

Although only established at the end of 2007 personnel within the team have been responsible for introducing a number of individuals into the sport who have been very successful and continue to compete.

Senior International Driver and Instructor Tim Matthews is the senior judge in the TV series 'So You Want To Be An F1 Driver' and has met many talented and budding racing drivers. Two drivers in particular have changed their lives because of the show. Mark Johnson won the first series and went on to compete in Palmer Audi and the European Drifting Championship finishing 3rd overall in 2007. He is now a full time instructor. Stratton Mackay began racing in the UK MG Championship with numerous wins. He now races a Subaru in the Open Saloon Car Championship. A number of other drivers continue to race in a variety of championships.

We are approached on a regular basis for advice and support and have developed a range of race driving experiences at fantastic prices where drivers are treated as individuals and drive more laps than at any other race school in the UK.
